An Eeyore Moment

I realize it's been almost a week since I've last blogged. It's been crazy- just alot of things to do... in a short amount of time!

Yesterday... was a rough day... It started off early... so early the sun wasn't even up yet! I managed to forget to bring something into work for a friend... and then ever since then... the day just seemed gloomy. I didn't wake up that morning feeling too good either.

The words coming out of my mouth didn't even make sense... how my friends understood me... I have no idea! I couldn't even pronounce words that I normally could pronounce! It was a loooong day- it just felt like I wasn't functioning.

On my way to Starbucks on base... I was PULLED OVER by an MP! I have NEVER EVER been pulled over before... and I consider myself a decent driver... but when I got pulled over... it didn't really even phase me... in my head, I was thinking, "What now? What else could possibly happen?!"- I really hate it when cops ask "Do you know why I pulled you over?" NO! I don't... if I knew WHY you were going to pull me over, I probably wouldn't have done what I did to get pulled over! So I responded, "No." Apparently, I did a "stop and go" at a stop sign... which he referred to as a "roll through"- I told him that I was sorry, and I honestly didn't even realize that is what had happened. He took my information back to his car... and less than a minute... he returned and said, "Well, just be careful next time"- and then I was on my way... I'm grateful I didn't get a ticket...but seriously... what a day! I should have ordered extra shots in my drink! ha!

You'd think that would be the ending to my day right? NEGATIVE. I got home, turned on my laptop... and the screen was black... and flashing in the top left corner was... "Operating System Not Found"- which to me... sounds VERY important and necessary in order to have an operating computer! Well... about an hour into me trying to figure it out... I don't know what I did... but my computer finally loaded! THANK GOODNESS! So once I was able to access my computer... I backed up EVERYTHING onto my external hard drive... at this point... I was ready for a nice hot shower, my comfy pjs, and my bed- to finish my evening... I caught a few episodes of Will & Grace aaaand Golden Girls. I know Golden Girls is an OOOOLD show... but I found humor in it.

I referred to this day as an "Eeyore Kinda Day"- just because it felt like the gloom had followed me... and I had a rain cloud above my head (aaaand it did rain on my way home!)

Well, today is a new day... I woke up to the rain hitting my window and the sound of the garbage trucks rolling through the neighborhood.

I have some cleaning to do... but I will probably put that off for another day... and work on something else... like organizing my workspace and shopping at Walmart to find things to organize my workspace.... ha! I also have some grocery shopping to do... but I can't seem to find the energy to get out of my pjs and stop watching LifeTime.
