I'm Feeling the Christmas Rush!

So yesterday, a friend and I went shopping... it was a fun day... hopefully next time, our other friend can join us... but she's been sick :( I will even show her the good restrooms at Ala Moana! I promise you'll love it!

I feel like I am so behind on the Holidays. I haven't even purchased or sent out half of my parents/sister's gifts! Buuut, Mom said not to worry, she hasn't either... ha! But, she has a more valid excuse... she works full time for the Government, and we all know how that is... but she's also trying to finish her Masters! Yay! Go Mom! My "excuse"- well, like I mentioned before, I've had to close for the past week... and really, just had no energy to go shopping... especially after my work day... I'm exhausted at the end of the day! I also work on Christmas Eve... and New Years Eve. I swear, these parents should REALLY be spending some time with their kids during this time... oh well, I guess that's what we are there for...

I am going to go grocery shopping in a little bit... that should be fun! (sarcasm). I'm also going to do some baking for Santa!

I really wish I could be home with my family for the Holidays... but my Mom is in PA helping my great Aunt with the funeral arrangements... I'm not even sure if she'll be back for Christmas... It sure doesn't feel like the holidays without your family... ::sighs:: But my Mom is where she needs to be right now... and she has such a kind heart... I could really learn a lot from her still! But, my heart has been angered lately... but my Mom tells me not to let things get to me... for the most part... I try... but I just can't understand some things...

Well, I'm off to the store... I hope I get some packages left at my door step when I come home! Companies are slackin! But, I know its a crazy time... especially for the mail system... BUT STILL! Don't advertise "Get your gifts in 2 days!" yet take 2 weeks! OOOOR how about the companies that just don't call you back so that you can check the status on your orders! I called 6 times! And guess what... today... it's finally posted with a tracking number online! I guess they got tired of hearing my messages! BUUUT, they were also too chicken to call me back! Ha!

Seriously... I'm going now.
